Refund Disclosures
These are the refund Policies & Disclosures. A full document with all items will be shared upon request OR after purchasing a Retreat Package. The Dream Marriage Retreat is further referred to as DMR.
These Terms and Conditions of Purchase (these “Terms and Conditions”) constitute a contract between The Dream Marriage Retreat, (herein referred to as “DMR”, “The Company,” “we,” or “us”) and you regarding your purchase of the products and services (the “Products”) described in attached order (the “Order”).
1. PRICES & PAYMENT TERMS AND REFUND POLICY
- Some circumstances arise that may require you to cancel your retreat registration. Please carefully read and understand our payment and refund policy before you register and pay for this retreat. Submitting payment confirms you have read, understand and agree with our policies.
- The prices for the Products shall be as stated on the Order.
- Payment is due in full. Although we do offer payment plans, until complete payment is received, neither your reservation for the Dream Marriage Retreat nor a room reservation at the resort is confirmed.
- Any additional upgrades can be added but are subject to availability by the retreat and resort.
- All reservation upgrades, adjustments to room location, tours, activities will all be booked through your direct communication with the resort. Any additional charges are your responsibility.
REFUND POLICY
To request a refund, email info@DreamMarriageRetreat.com. All refunds are subject to a $500 administrative fee. In the spirit of doing the right thing we will always try to keep this fee as close to zero as possible.
- If a credit card was used to pay for the DMR reservation and a refund is requested the fee for processing the credit card transaction will not be refunded. That fee is charged by the processing company.
- All refunds may take up to 120 days to process (15 days is the normal time frame), due to reservations being made and money being held by the resort.
- Any selected options or upgrades to your DMR package are subject to availability by the retreat and the resort, and DMR reserves the right to offer refunds or alternative accommodations.
- Due to the contractual obligations with the resort and facilitators, any upgrades that have been added to your resort package cannot be downgraded or cancelled except as in accordance with the below.
Refunds requested 30 days or more prior to your scheduled retreat date
- For any reason, a refund of the retreat payment can be provided if requested in writing 30 days (30) or more before the first day of the retreat, less (up to $500) due to administrative costs (communications, hold times, documentation preparation for refund requests, etc). In addition, as listed above, any non refundable items will be deducted from the total refund amount.
Refunds requested 29 days to 15 days before your scheduled retreat date
- In the event there is an emergency or conflict where a reservation needs to be canceled during the 29 to 15 days before the scheduled retreat date, DMR will offer the opportunity for the couple with a Fully Paid reservation to find a new couple to take over their reservation within the 29 - 15 days prior to the retreat schedule date. The payment from the new couple will be managed directly by and paid to the original reservation holders.
- i.e. the new couple will pay the original couple the full price of the retreat directly so they can take their place at the retreat.
Refunds requested 14 days or less prior to your scheduled retreat date
- Due to contractual obligations with the resort, payments from participants canceling on or less than 15 days before the retreat are non transferable to another couple and can not be refunded. DMR will make efforts to credit totals towards another Retreat but can not guarantee that option.
- Any participant or couple who has not checked in by 11:00pm of the 2nd day of the retreat forfeits their payment, the resort reservation, retreat participation, and all other benefits associated with the resort and DMR, and any affiliate.
Other Cancellations
- In the event of a city- or state-declared emergency or resort or airport closure, full or partial retreat refunds may be given if funds remain after fees or penalties acquired by The Company are deducted.
- If you or your partner are rude, inappropriate, or disrespectful to resort staff, DMR facilitators, or affiliates, The Company reserves the right to terminate services and no refund will be issued.
